Deposit
Connect your wallet, choose a vault, and deposit supported assets to start earning automated, risk-adjusted yield with a single deposit.
After you deposit, the vault puts your assets to work in the yield strategy. No further action is required. The steps below walk you through the full process, from opening the app to receiving your vault shares.
Supported assets
Each vault accepts a specific asset, for example WBTC Vault accepts WBTC, and the Concrete DeFi USDT vault accepts USDT. Some vaults have Enso integration, meaning you can bridge, and/or swap and deposit into the vault using all of the listed tokens. See Bridging and Depositing with Enso for more.
Before you start
- You need a Web3 wallet (e.g. MetaMask) connected to Concrete.
- Wallet connection on Earn requires Terms of Use and Privacy Policy acceptance, and the address is screened via Chainalysis for high-risk or restricted-jurisdiction addresses.
- Ensure you have sufficient tokens for any network fees, for example ETH for Ethereum network deposit fees.
Deposit steps
- Go to the Earn page – Open app.concrete.xyz/earn in your browser.
- Connect your wallet – Click Connect Wallet and approve the connection request in your wallet.
- Select a vault – Review the available vaults. Choose the one that matches the asset you want to deposit.
- Enter the amount – Type the amount you want to deposit into the vault.
- Approve the token – If this is your first deposit with this token, you will need to submit an approval transaction allowing the vault contract to spend your tokens. Confirm this in your wallet.
- Confirm the deposit – Review the deposit summary and click Deposit. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
- Receive your shares – Once the transaction confirms, you receive ctAssets (for example, ctWBTC) in your wallet. These shares represent your proportional ownership of the vault and appreciate in value as the vault earns yield.
What happens after you deposit
Once deposited, your capital is put to work across the yield strategies listed on the vault page. The number of shares you hold doesn't change. Instead, each share becomes worth more as the vault generates returns.
